Troy Crawford is deeply passionate about turfgrass management. With more than 30 years of experience, he has consistently focused on raising expectations, driving efficiency, and striving for excellence in every project. He is a Master Certified Professional Turfgrass Manager
(MCPTM) of more than 15 years and is a licensed irrigator. 

From his early career with the Texas Rangers and Houston Astros to his civic work with local municipalities and his tenure with FC Dallas, Troy has built a broad and practical understanding of turfgrass management which spans rules, regulations, budgeting, and personnel leadership.
His approach is simple: create the safest, most visually impressive fields possible, whether they’re for young kids just starting out or world renowned professional athletes.

Recognized for his keen analytical and problem-solving skills, Troy excels at evaluating field operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that meet both immediate needs and long-term goals. His expertise in developing and leading comprehensive field maintenance programs has earned him five Field of the Year Awards from the Texas Turfgrass Association and two national Field of the Year Awards from the Sports Field Management Association (SFMA). In
addition, his fields have hosted the U.S. Men’s National Team, Gold Cup teams, and numerous national teams from around the world.
